Don't worry the RIYC won't allow it ;)

BTW, they had big problems with the real ones in Dubai, the interruption to the tidal streams silted up one development, and eat away part of the original coast. Howth YC could become Howth Island YC, and Malahide silt up completely. Mick you will need caterpillar tracks under SV2 to get out.

That's OK, there going to build Howth 2 on the southside (make it safer to visit and leave than the original, no more UN convoys!) :rolf

What? A southside Howth? I'm going to write to Kofi straight away, no way can we in ROI have a southside Howth! The US troops were supposed to leave once Malahide had removed their invading boats from Howth, but they claim they are waiting for Howthers to vote for a democratically elected council of crinimals (ie politicians). Anyway, ethnically speaking Howthers have always been southsiders in their own minds. Barred from membership of RIYC too!

It's not that far off the mark! Subtract the silly shamrock stuff and give it 20 years.

Hi Jim :wave

In 20 years time Howth may have a ferry to reach the mainland via the new Dublin port in Roundwood! ;) And Liberty hall will be in the middle of new Dublin bay, like the statue of Liberty on long island sound.

Nonsense! It's far cheaper to protect the city you've got than to rebuild it somewhere else. They'll build the Eastern Bypass motorway they've always wanted to build, cover it and use it as a dyke. The Liffey will have barriers like the Thames barriers. It'll be the new New Orleans with bigger, better dykes (with additional tourism as the le$bian capital of the world :D )

Is this forum hosted in the US by any chance? What unbelievable prudery! I had to put a dollar sign in le$bian before it would publish the word!

I see that this actually made the national media !

The designer of this Viral marketing campaign explained his strategy on an e business forum that I am a member of as he rolled out the project.

Very interesting to watch it unfold from an insider view point!
