Default Banagher Theft

Just incase anyone here who visits Banagher or has a boat in the area who hasn't seen this:

Banagher - beware...

Words cannot describe how p1ssed off i would be if that happened to me. Im annoyed as it is that it even happened. Sure stuff gets robbed and thats what insurance is for etc but stealing the webasto heater (and if that inverter was more substantial then a 12v lighter one) is just taking the p1ss.

I hope karma seriously comes back to haunt them.

Remember also, this may have happened in Banagher but banagher is only a short drive from where ever your boat is located on the south Shannon. These scum bags could easily show up in Killaloe or Portumna etc.

The really sickening bit.....?

This theft was almost certainly either carried out by another boater or at least the proceeds of the robbery will be bought by another boater.

I really feel for you on this one.

I duno those webasto and eberspacher heating units are used on trucks and dare i say it, caravans!

Anyway hopefully its well documented enough that if the items come up for sale, someone on one of the sites will recognise them!

Duno I never saw a caravan with a VHF radio in it.
But as you say they might come up for sale somewhere.

Hopefully those 'Tea-Leaf's' won't have any luck for it.

If he's not insured for equipment he might be banjaxed. I'm not registered over there - but if anyone here knows the man involved, I have a spare ICOM 421 Vhf that he can have if he's stuck, maybe not enough heat of it to keep them warm .. but at least keep them safe on the water.
