Sounds Great,I learned to ski there,its less than a mile from my house.
This would be a great amenity to the fingal area provided you have sensible boat drivers!
Along the estuary wall at train tracks is amazingly calm water almost glass like.
Would make a great slalom run along there,only thing is, will fingal give you guys a permit,if they do i would defo join club.
Actually your club would be full in no time as its the only ski club in the greater diblin area.
Best of luck with it and keep me informed i will pm you my details.

Sounds promising. Did you hitch up with the ISA and Denis Dillon the National Powerboat Development Officer?Cheers Boatmad,
yeah so far we have about 11 members, kinda hoping to have around 30 or so...who know by next march we could all be skiing back in dublin;)

Yes indeed i did, (thank u for the introduction!) we have a meeting with him next tuesday evening at the isa offices,he seems a really decent guy who is into watersports.
He reckons with the right preparation we should have no difficulty getting a permit to ski on Broadmeadows Estuary from fcc,fingers crossed.
Our next plight is to get a few more members on board,15 years ago i knew at least 40-50 skiers on the estuary,but as of today i have lost touch with most of them.

Hi All,
Am recruting new members for new ski club in North County Dublin,activities will include Waterski Traning, Wakeboarding,Jetskiing, Kneeboarding,Tubing etc,Full traning will be given,Great fun to be had by all.
