water levels in ULE are now well up, reading this morning is 46.98m @ Belle Isle

last Sat the reading was 46.78m which meant the water level was about 250mm below the surface on the static public jetties at Carrybridge, so ULE is now well in flood......!

the reading at Belle Island is measured from datum of 0m at sea level at Poolbeg lighthouse in Dublin.

only for ULE,

the other two datums in use in Ireland, are Malin in the RoI and Belfast in NI, both are markedly different to Poolbeg at around 3m difference, but although close, Malin & Belfast are not the same. Also the satelites are uploaded every twenty minutes or so with reference levels from the ground..........

:sleeping stay awake at the back of the class, please......... :innocent
