Hi All,

Please note the Powerboat Branch will be having its AGM in the Grand Canal Basin on the 29th December @ 4pm
and we would like to invite anyone who is interested in getting involved or leaning more about the branch,
to come along and attend the meeting.

The Main topic of discussion will be the Calendar of events for 2012.
As a non-geographical branch with no fixed area we are open to any
ideas or suggestions in relation to events to be added to our calendar.

The following are events we are preparing for 2012 Calendar,
Volvo Ocean race event in Galway in June,
The Tall Ships Race in Dublin in August,
A North Shannon Fun Run In September.

For a idea of the events and things we have gotten up to so far in 2011 can be seen here

We hope that attendees at the AGM will make further suggestions as to more location
or events we could attend. Some other suggestion have been received and will discussing
them at the meeting.

P.S. This will be after we return from paying homage to "The Effin Bridge" with the Dublin and
Kildare Branches and a relaxed spin up the Liffey.
We will be Launching in the Basin from 9.15am and locking out on to the Liffey by 10.30am so if any one in interested in coming along we should have seats. (bring the winter woolies it will be cold)
