Portora Lock
Fast Flow Rates
Waterways Ireland has been advised by the Rivers Agency that Portora Lock is presently closed. Also, that due to a defective sluice gate on the weir there are fast flow rates in the vicinity of the lock.
Masters are advised to proceed with due caution if navigating in the vicinity of the lock.
